In my therapy practice I integrate mindfulness and meditation techniques as these are evidenced-based practices for reducing stress and anxiety as well as any mental and emotional struggle. Mindfulness is paying attention from moment to moment with a nonjudgmental awareness. This is one of the most simple—and yet at the same time—one of the most difficult practices.
